With the concept of “BOX DESIGN,” the model “KINGMAKER” challenges the boundaries of traditional square shapes, evolving into a more three-dimensional form. When pursuing the essence of the square silhouette, we arrived at an unexpected inspiration — the nostalgic design of the classic cathode-ray television.

A unique “television cut” is applied to the inner side of the frame, resulting in a perfectly balanced and truly dimensional box style. Though GROOVER has explored various interpretations of “BOX DESIGN” in the past, none reached a level of satisfaction worthy of release—until now.

By adopting 8mm-thick Takiron acetate and boldly integrating wide temples, “KINGMAKER” achieves both style and substance, expressing GROOVER’s signature aesthetic with new depth and confidence.

This model marks a pivotal moment for GROOVER, symbolizing the brand’s progression into its next creative stage.
