Every GROOVER frame produced since 2019 has been individually stamped with its own serial number. This is not simply a model number, but a unique identification number assigned to each individual frame—never duplicated within the same model.


Very few eyewear brands in the world assign a serial number to every single frame they create. At GROOVER, each number is carefully hand-stamped, one by one, as an expression of our commitment to craftsmanship—and to ensure that everyone who chooses a GROOVER frame can feel that it is something truly personal and special. This small mark is proof of the handmade character of GROOVER, carrying with it a quiet story of the hands and intentions behind its creation.


We never want anyone to experience the disappointment of unknowingly purchasing an imitation or counterfeit product. To protect the integrity of GROOVER and make its authenticity unmistakable, every frame carries this serial number as a mark of certainty.


At the same time, we have never wished to create an unnecessary sense of exclusivity. Except for limited-production models, the serial number is intentionally left understated—without gold or silver foil—appearing only as a discreet hand-stamped mark.


It is quiet enough to go unnoticed at first glance. But should you discover that small engraving, it becomes a little secret shared between you and GROOVER. We also keep a record of the country in which each numbered frame is sold, quietly watching as every piece finds its place in someone’s life somewhere in the world.
